Unique 10inch 11000 LP collector’s series  Reissue of the rare Australian LP Capitol H-764 Plus 2 bonus tracks! Reproduction of the rare original album cover Painstakingly remastered for highest fidelity pressed on high quality vinyl! Limited to 1,000 copies, the first 500 copies pressed on color vinyl In October 1957 Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps toured Australia for the first time, coupled with Eddie Cochran, Little Richard und Alis Lesley.
It was during this tour that Little Richard found god and became lost for Rock and Roll for a few years. It’s not clear as glass when exactly Capitol Australia issued the original ‚Bluejean Bop‘ ten inch album. Obviously, Gene’s 45s sold well enough. In the view of the coming tour the original release probably cvame out in late 56/ early 57.  We have pimped up the original tracklisting with Gonna Back Up Baby, and Well I Knocked Bim Bam (both from 1956) which were only available as 45s way back then. The original ten inch LP was a knockdown of his first LP ‚Bluejean Bop‘, but with a different coloring (more light purple than baby-blue), but it was no question for us about the coloring of the vinyl: Bluejean blue! Sometimes, a Vincent 10″LP from Japan may come your way, but hardly ever you will find the rare Australian original. This is your chance to ad a sought-after collector’s item to your record collection! Bear Family – Vinyl Club Exclusive!
